Modern West Coast Kitchen and Utility

Being close to the coast and high on the hills of beautiful South West Scotland, this kitchen was designed to bring all of the outside elements into the room through the choice of colour palette, tying in the existing blue Aga and using lots of textures throughout.

Clever doggy-proof gating was fundamental to this design too in order to allow our client to section off their kitchen when necessary. We worked closely with our client’s ironmonger to create a slide away dog-gate under the breakfast bar. The utility room included under-counter dog bed houses for their pets along with grill frontages, again created by the client’s ironmonger.

The end result is a spacious, light kitchen and utility that gives our client peace of mind that their pets are safe and secure when need be, and not always begging for food scraps from the Aga!
