Traditional Farmhouse Kitchen

This brief for this project was to keep the kitchen as the “heart of the home.” We achieved this by creating a warm colour palette with a two-tone scheme, including elements of both hand painted cabinetry and lacquered oak.

The client’s Aga, surrounded by a large traditional style over-mantle, is both beautiful and practical – ideal for this busy household. The tall cabinetry utilises the space very effectively. Recessed into the wall, it houses a fridge and freezer, and above, the glass astragal wall cabinets give it another dimension. Our personal highlight is the freestanding bar cabinet that has fantastic fridge drawer storage to ensure chilled drinks are always available when on the go!
